My aim through art is to bring the ungovernable tangle of nature indoors and re-wild the home.
Caroline Elliott is a mixed media printmaker influenced by the writings and sensibilities of Roger Deakins, Robert MacFarlane and other writers with deep nature at the heart of their work. Examining remote aspects of landscapes, the overlooked, the undervalued and the near extinct, gives Caroline the opportunity to indulge her love of wild flowers, landscape, woodlands and the quiet, unassuming, ungovernable tangle of wild. Caroline graduated from Winchester School of Art in textile art and worked in film, television, theatre and opera in the UK and US as a scenic painter and art director. Latterly she has worked in the regeneration, public arts and health sectors. Caroline facilitates numerous Art & Nature and Art & Creativity groups in London and is part of the Printmakers Council, and local arts organisations in North London exhibiting throughout the year.Show more Show Less
