Kin received his Diploma in Fine Art in Painting from the LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts in Singapore in 2002. This was followed by a tenure working with established artists in the field and teaching in the Art Program of various primary and secondary schools. He has collaborated in joint projects like the Yellow Ribbon Project (Singapore Changi Prison Link), Singapore Youth Festival and various key workshops for Esplanade Singapore.
He participated in two curated group exhibitions These Scared Things at the Jendela Gallery, Esplanade, Singapore in 2015, and Sense Making in Hong Kong and Penang, Malaysia in 2013. He held his first solo exhibition Garden Above at Utterly Art, Singapore in 2019.
